How to scan visa documents clearly
Create readable visa-document scans, keep pages complete and correctly oriented, and prepare PDF or image files for a portal without sacrificing the original evidence.
Prioritize readability before file size
A smaller file is not useful if text, stamps or numbers become unreadable. Capture the full page, avoid shadows and blur, and check the result at normal zoom before compressing anything.
Keep pages complete and in order
Do not crop away document edges, page numbers, stamps or annotations that belong to the document. Multi-page evidence should remain in the correct sequence. Rotate pages so they open upright for the reviewer.
Choose a practical digital format
If a portal asks for PDF, convert image scans into a PDF only after checking image quality. If it asks for JPG or another format, follow that instruction rather than forcing every document into one file type. Portal instructions are the authority for upload format and size.
Use FilexFlow for technical preparation, not document alteration
FilexFlow can convert, merge, compress and apply OCR where appropriate. Those operations should make the file easier to use while preserving the underlying document. Keep the original scan available and review the prepared output before submission.
Keep your preparation on this device
Install the FilexFlow PWA if you want your visa workspace and progress to remain available on this device between visits.
FilexFlow does not attach the local visa workspace to your account. Server-side conversions are separate operations governed by the FilexFlow Privacy Policy.
